Brand Manufacturer Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement business strategies for contracting with brand pharmaceutical manufacturers.

• Work collaboratively with team members to discover new partnership opportunities within a multibillion-dollar drug portfolio.

• Secure contracts for brand drugs under the 340B Prime Vendor Program.

• Create compelling value propositions and business cases for brand drug manufacturers.

• Establish trustworthy relationships across outpatient therapeutic drug classifications.

• Generate new pharmacy program opportunities that address stakeholder needs.

• Identify the business needs, organizational structures, and strategies of manufacturers to enhance the Apexus contracting value proposition.

• Develop, implement, and track new business opportunities with pharmaceutical manufacturers.

• Utilize relationships with national, corporate, and senior-level executive decision-makers in manufacturing.

• Build relationships with consultants, attorneys, and advocacy groups.

• Clearly communicate and educate manufacturers on the benefits of Apexus’ prime vendor program.

• Prepare and present executive business reviews to leadership, advisory councils, and internal stakeholders.

• Conduct analyses of therapeutic drug costs, market assessments, and research.

• Create tailored business case models and value propositions for therapeutic drug classes.

• Coordinate with education and covered entity optimization teams.

• Understand and assess drug utilization in 340B-eligible hospitals and clinics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A PharmD or a degree in Pharmacy is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in pharmacy is required.

• Experience in pharmacy contracting is preferred.

• Familiarity with the 340B Drug Pricing Program is preferred.

• Strategic and analytical agility, along with sound judgment for setting objectives, is desired.

• Proven leadership, presentation, and cross-functional interaction skills, with a successful track record of achieving results, are needed.

• Willingness to travel is required.
