Brand Design Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create the product from scratch, focusing on its functions, user experience, and overall operation.

• Transform Replika’s AI and technical capabilities into features that enhance users’ outlook, perspective, productivity, or experiences.

• Develop innovative concepts, new mechanics, and ideas that have not yet been conceived.

• Deliver functional concepts rapidly.

• Prototype, test, learn, and refine ideas continuously.

• Uphold a unique product standard by dismissing obvious, derivative, or merely adequate ideas.

• Collaborate directly with product, engineering, and founders to evolve concepts from ideas into tangible product experiences.

• A concept-driven designer who focuses on what a product does and how it feels, not just its appearance.

• Experience in creating product experiences rather than strictly following specifications.

• Proven track record of genuinely original ideas and functional concepts.

• Profound understanding of what makes products exceptional and unique.

• Capability to translate raw technical abilities, such as AI features, into meaningful user-facing functionalities.

• A tendency towards speed and the proficiency to deliver functional concepts quickly.

• Comfortable starting with a blank slate without predefined patterns or specifications.

• Proactive and self-motivated, capable of generating and driving ideas independently.

• Experience with AI, conversational, or emotionally engaging products is advantageous.

• Experience in taking a product concept from inception to a beloved and widely used solution is a plus.

• A portfolio showcasing a range of originality, including concepts, prototypes, and products, beyond just screens.

• Proficient in prototyping using tools such as Figma, motion, code, paper, or Keynote.

• Familiarity with AI tools to explore concepts and accelerate processes is a bonus.
