This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct or oversee essential inspections of gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators utilizing remote inspection systems.
• Execute limited-access borescope inspections at fossil and nuclear power stations, as well as other power-generation sites globally.
• Deliver precise and clear interpretation of inspection findings.
• Remain updated with emerging technologies and testing methodologies.
• Enhance inspection qualifications.
• Generate inspection reports promptly.
• Submit time cards and manage expense reconciliations.
• Fulfill training obligations and other business-related responsibilities.
• Collect, organize, and process inspection data.
• Conduct borescope inspections and other necessary inspections as per business requirements.
• Provide support for operations in the USA and internationally.
• Collaborate with clients and independently address inspection needs in a procedure-driven setting.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent vocational training in mechanical or non-destructive inspection technology, or a minimum of 3 years of borescope experience.
• Preferably possess borescope experience with heavy-duty gas turbines.
• Must be a US citizen or hold legal residency in the USA.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Capability to travel in and out of the USA for training and international assignments.
• Readiness and willingness to travel globally on short notice and for extended durations.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to rent vehicles.
• Recommended experience with 7F.01-.03 gas turbine construction, particularly in borescope close-out inspections.
• Understanding of design, construction, and maintenance of steam or combustion turbines/generators utilized in power generation.
• Familiarity with Mentor Visual iQ Videoprobe and Menu Directed Inspection software.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, planning, and technical abilities.
• Ability to work independently, safely, and efficiently with minimal supervision in a procedure-driven environment.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off-hours as required.
• Ability to travel frequently; 80% travel is necessary.
