This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
β’ Investigate, assess, negotiate, and resolve bodily injury claims arising from commercial auto and transportation operations.
β’ Proactively oversee claims from assignment to resolution.
β’ Review and analyze claim submissions to ascertain coverage and relevant policy provisions.
β’ Conduct investigations, collect supporting documentation, and validate claim details.
β’ Communicate with policyholders, brokers, and other stakeholders concerning claim status.
β’ Accurately document claim files and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
β’ Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to expedite claim resolution.
β’ Identify and escalate complex or suspicious claims to senior resources or management.
β’ Ensure timely handling of claims within established service levels and uphold high customer service standards.
β’ Resolve damages.
β’ Maintain a working diary.
β’ Review, analyze, and negotiate medical bills.
β’ Negotiate claim totals with attorneys.
β’ Perform other significant and minor duties as assigned.
β’ Bachelor's degree.
β’ 5β7 years of experience in claims handling, insurance operations, and commercial insurance.
β’ Familiarity with commercial insurance principles, practices, and terminology is preferred.
β’ Experience in a service-oriented environment with client interaction is a plus.
β’ Must hold a current adjuster's license in the state where business is conducted.
β’ Ability to acquire licenses within 90 days.
β’ Fluency in the English language is required.
β’ Knowledge of liability investigations, coverage analysis, medical evaluations, and settlement negotiations.
β’ Proficient in claims systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
β’ Skills in claims investigation and evaluation.
β’ Understanding of insurance policy interpretation and coverage analysis.
β’ Proficiency in negotiation and settlement.
β’ Capability to manage multiple claims and meet deadlines.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Analytical and problem-solving skills.
