Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster – Commercial Auto

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Investigate, assess, negotiate, and resolve bodily injury claims arising from commercial auto and transportation operations.

• Proactively oversee claims from assignment to resolution.

• Review and analyze claim submissions to ascertain coverage and relevant policy provisions.

• Conduct investigations, collect supporting documentation, and validate claim details.

• Communicate with policyholders, brokers, and other stakeholders concerning claim status.

• Accurately document claim files and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to expedite claim resolution.

• Identify and escalate complex or suspicious claims to senior resources or management.

• Ensure timely handling of claims within established service levels and uphold high customer service standards.

• Resolve damages.

• Maintain a working diary.

• Review, analyze, and negotiate medical bills.

• Negotiate claim totals with attorneys.

• Perform other significant and minor duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• 5–7 years of experience in claims handling, insurance operations, and commercial insurance.

• Familiarity with commercial insurance principles, practices, and terminology is preferred.

• Experience in a service-oriented environment with client interaction is a plus.

• Must hold a current adjuster's license in the state where business is conducted.

• Ability to acquire licenses within 90 days.

• Fluency in the English language is required.

• Knowledge of liability investigations, coverage analysis, medical evaluations, and settlement negotiations.

• Proficient in claims systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Skills in claims investigation and evaluation.

• Understanding of insurance policy interpretation and coverage analysis.

• Proficiency in negotiation and settlement.

• Capability to manage multiple claims and meet deadlines.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Customer service orientation with a keen attention to detail.
