This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct investigations into automobile accidents involving one or more vehicles that result in property damage and/or bodily injuries with attorney or litigation involvement.
• Manage moderately represented cases within Florida.
• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages.
• Engage with customers and attorneys through phone calls, emails, and text messages.
• Negotiate equitable injury settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
• Analyze damage and interpret policies to establish coverage.
• Keep customers informed and adapt to their preferred communication methods.
• Implement legal and business-standard claims-handling practices.
• Utilize estimation tools, job aids, and settlement platforms.
• Ensure timely and precise claim documentation is completed in the claims system.
• Safeguard the company financially by adhering to policy agreements.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in handling Florida represented third-party bodily injury claims.
• Understanding of Florida tort reform.
• Possession of a Florida 6-20 All Lines Adjuster License (Property & Casualty).
• Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone.
• Capability to work independently and remotely while effectively managing time.
• Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability assessment.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of tools and platforms used for claims evaluation.
• Must have a home office located in the United States; positions are not available to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, or Washington.
• A dedicated private workspace at home that is free from distractions.
• Minimum internet speed of 50 MB down/5 MB up.
• An appropriate work surface and seating arrangement.
• Background check required.
• Must terminate any existing insurance appointments and refrain from holding outside appointments during employment if currently licensed.
• Active resident producer license holders must surrender their licenses when instructed to do so.
