This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct investigations into automobile accidents that involve one or multiple vehicles resulting in property damage and/or personal injury, with attorney and litigation engagement.
• Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages associated with claims.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entirety of the claims process.
• Engage in communication with clients and attorneys via phone calls, emails, text messages, and occasionally video conferencing.
• Utilize various platforms and tools to assess claims effectively.
• Successfully negotiate fair settlements for injuries with clients, vendors, third-party carriers, claimants, and attorneys.
• Analyze damage specifics and interpret insurance policies to ascertain coverage.
• Implement claim-handling methodologies in complex and challenging scenarios.
• Employ estimation tools, job aids, and settlement platforms as necessary.
• Adhere to policies in accordance with policy agreements.
• Keep clear and precise records of claims.
• Ensure timely documentation within the claims system.
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST.
• Must reside within the Central or Eastern time zones.
• Must be a resident of the United States.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in handling third-party bodily injury claims.
• Experience in Texas casualty claim handling is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while efficiently managing time.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and liability assessment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms used for claims evaluation.
• A home office setup with a dedicated, private workspace that is free from distractions.
• Minimum internet speed of 50 MB down and 5 MB up.
• A suitable work surface and comfortable seating.
• Must undergo a background check.
• An adjuster and/or appraiser license may be necessary within 60 days of hire, if applicable.
• Individuals with an active insurance license must cancel existing appointments and cannot hold outside appointments during employment.
• Allstate typically does not sponsor employment-based visas for this position.
