Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon – Independent Medical Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform autonomous, evidence-driven medical evaluations and utilization assessments.

• Examine patient records and associated documentation in accordance with clinical standards.

• Deliver impartial, high-quality reports within specified turnaround times.

• Ensure adherence to URAC, HIPAA, and internal quality benchmarks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current board certification in Plastic Surgery is required.

• Must hold a valid, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.

• Preference for candidates with California licensure.

• Active involvement in clinical practice for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

• Prior experience in peer review, utilization review, or independent medical examinations is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Excellent written communication skills and capability to document findings effectively.

• Ability to work independently and navigate online review platforms comfortably.

• Must have 1099 independent contractor status.
