Board Certified Christian Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver professional Christian faith-based counseling via secure telehealth services.

• Incorporate Biblical principles into counseling sessions when suitable and in alignment with the client's aspirations and preferences.

• Support clients facing emotional, relational, marital, family, grief, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and spiritual issues.

• Create personalized treatment plans and counseling objectives.

• Ensure timely, precise, and professional clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with other providers and referral sources as necessary.

• Maintain ethical, professional, and Biblical standards of practice.

• Engage in team meetings and continuous professional development opportunities as requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current Board Certification in Christian Counseling from a nationally recognized certifying body.

• Strong understanding of Biblical principles and their ethical application in counseling.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Experience in providing counseling, coaching, ministry care, or related support services.

• Capability to deliver services professionally through a telehealth platform.

• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for virtual counseling.

• Applicants must be ready to provide verification of their Board Certification during the hiring process.

• Comfortable with working independently in a telehealth setting.

• Previous experience in telehealth counseling is preferred.

• Experience working with couples and families is preferred.

• Experience in providing Christian counseling in private practice or ministry environments is preferred.

• Graduate education in Counseling, Psychology, Theology, Divinity, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, Pastoral Counseling, or related fields is preferred.

• Active clinical licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist, etc.) is welcomed but not mandatory unless required for specific services provided.
