BIM Mechanical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and design mechanical systems utilizing BIM software like Revit or AutoCAD MEP

• Work in partnership with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to seamlessly incorporate mechanical systems into building designs

• Produce comprehensive construction documents and specifications, which include equipment schedules, duct layouts, and piping diagrams

• Conduct calculations and simulations to verify system performance, safety, and adherence to industry standards and building regulations

• Execute clash detection and suggest design adjustments

• Create 2D drawings and 3D models using BIM software

• Engage in the design, construction, and upkeep of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in buildings

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in design and modeling

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 3 years of experience in design and modeling with BIM software

• US experience is strongly preferred

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and additional BIM software

• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection

• Knowledge of construction industry practices and standards

• Capability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and contractors

• Outstanding communication and organizational abilities

• Reliable internet connection is necessary for the remote role

• Willingness to work the shift from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST
