This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Executes fundamental tasks necessary for the development and design of routine to moderately complex engineering and construction drawings (layouts, assemblies, schematics, and details) in a specialized area, leveraging computer-aided design technology based on general engineering or design information.

• Facilitates coordination of design efforts among specialty areas within the project team.

• Comprehends the fundamental design approach (technical, construction, and commercial) and ensures that the design strategy aligns with the relevant requirements.

• Holds a general understanding of the types of drawings necessary for a project, their purposes, and their interrelationships with other deliverables.

• Oversees personal task assignments while adhering to the project scope of work, timeline, and budget for all assigned responsibilities.

• Communicates with the senior designer regarding project status, requirements, and modifications in scope, schedule, and budget.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient experience using Revit.

• Holds a practical understanding of drafting/design, encompassing techniques, standards, nomenclature, and symbols utilized in the preparation of drawings.

• Exhibits an aptitude for computing, design, and layout/drawing preparation.

• Possesses a general knowledge of diverse disciplines and project execution methodologies.

• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to foster relationships and collaborate effectively in a team setting.

• Preferred Education: An Associate's degree or higher in Design and Mechanical Systems or a related field.
