This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Honduras, +6 more countries.

📋 Description

• Guide clients through various payment options, such as credit cards, personal loans, family assistance, employer support, and legal fee financing programs.

• Verify credits, write-offs, and billing holds in writing prior to finalizing related invoices.

• Contact each client before dispatching replenishment requests.

• Review attorney schedules and initiate additional retainer requests.

• Create a weekly deliverable every Friday summarizing resolved and outstanding complaints.

• Provide estimated dollar ranges for upcoming cost events.

• Log billing complaints with timestamps and direct them to the appropriate attorneys.

• Ensure trust accounts remain funded and clients stay informed.

• Lead discussions on collections with case updates before addressing outstanding balances.

• Maintain accounts receivable at less than 2% of total billings.

• Conduct billing tutorials within five business days of onboarding new clients.

• Notify assigned attorneys of matters falling below the trust threshold on the same day.

• Record retainer reductions and billing pauses in Clio at the matter level.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable in a professional services setting; experience in a law firm is highly preferred.

• Comfortable making outbound phone calls and engaging in client-facing conversations.

• Proficient in practice management software (Clio Manage is preferred).

• Ability to read and understand legal invoices, time entries, trust account statements, and engagement agreements.

• Strong written communication skills for documented escalations, client correspondence, and weekly deliverables.

• Proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Calendar, Drive).

• Previous experience with LawPay, Dialpad, or Clio Grow.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
