This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead the technical enablement and comprehensive integration of essential payment products—including EMV, Digital, Tokenization, and 3DS—for both issuing and acquiring partners throughout the LATAM region.
• Serve as the main technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Issuers, Acquirers, Processors, and Gateways, converting intricate network product specifications into practical implementation plans for clients.
• Assist partners in the setup of L3 terminal certification, ensuring connectivity, executing test cases, and configuring TSE.
• Assess test case failures, respond to technical inquiries, analyze and approve waivers, and review final documentation to authorize Letters of Certification (LOC).
• Act as a SME for network testing tools, including card/host simulators.
• Collaborate with Issuers to choose and develop card profiles that comply with Network EMV specifications.
• Resolve CPV failures, confirm prerequisites, authorize waivers, and finalize LOC approvals.
• Perform root-cause analysis on technical integration challenges by examining specifications, transaction flows, and configuration files.
• Identify and address inefficiencies in implementation models to enhance client onboarding, improve metrics tracking, and facilitate the commercialization of new payment capabilities.
• Actively manage technical risks, escalate issues impacting customers, and nurture relationships with internal business teams and external service providers.
• High School Diploma, GED, or an equivalent certification.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience with L3 Certification (Acquiring or Issuing), ISO 8583, EMV specifications, contactless NFC, 3D Secure (3DS), or Digital Tokenization.
• At least 5 years of experience in client-facing technical delivery or stakeholder management.
• A minimum of 2 years of technical troubleshooting and investigation experience within payment network implementations.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a Language Assessment.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business.
• Preferred: Experience using industry test tools and providers (FIME, UL, ArgoTechno).
• Preferred: Experience working directly with Payment Service Providers (PSPs), acquirer processors, or card issuers in the Latin American (LATAM) market.
