This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the development, implementation, maintenance, negotiation, and execution of customer contracts, which includes new agreements, renewals, resigns, amendments, capital, consumable, lease, quote, and extension contracts.
• Act as the contract subject matter expert by crafting contractual language, evaluating requested modifications to standard terms, managing reviews of terms and conditions with Legal, and safeguarding Baxter's interests during negotiations.
• Strategically coordinate the contract calendar and lifecycle, ensuring timely renewals and resigns while identifying and escalating potential risks.
• Function as project manager for contract resigns, RFPs, and RFIs, organizing kickoff and status meetings, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, assigning requirements, and managing multiple responses within tight deadlines.
• Utilize expertise in Group Purchasing Organizations and customer buying groups to enhance contract strategy, pricing decisions, and business objectives.
• Lead the preparation and management of agreements, contracts, and pricing quotations in alignment with business standards and customer requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Baxter policies, procedures, approval authorities, contractual processes, applicable laws and regulations, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
• Support Contracts and Pricing initiatives, which include grant policy compliance, enhancements in contract technology, business intelligence tools, contract repositories, system improvements, and workflow optimization.
• Bilingual in English and French, possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration is required; a specialization in Contracts, Pricing, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Contract Management, Pricing, Sales Support, and/or RFP Management.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Capability to manage competing priorities and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leadership and customers.
• Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to evaluate complex situations and make informed decisions.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities independently and with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with JD Edwards and Cognos is considered an asset.
