This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +23 more states.
• Managing incoming alarm calls and making outgoing calls to verify alarm activity, dispatching appropriate authorities, and informing responsible parties.
• Demonstrating meticulous attention to detail while documenting alarm handling procedures within the alarm system interfaces.
• Executing alarm processing in alignment with departmental protocols.
• Answering inbound calls and communicating essential information regarding life-safety systems and services, including updating customer accounts and addressing billing inquiries.
• Assisting ADT customers through problem-solving, de-escalating issues, and resolving account discrepancies.
• Offering technical support and troubleshooting devices within ADT systems.
• Guiding customers to comprehend the noble purpose of ADT and providing lifestyle solutions.
• Engaging in coaching, team meetings, or one-on-one development sessions to enhance your career at ADT.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Spanish in a professional setting is essential.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service is mandatory.
• Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Eligibility for licensing in multiple states is necessary.
• Paid virtual training, with potential in-person attendance required based on business needs.
• VDI training prerequisites:
• A designated workspace for remote work.
• High-speed internet connection, such as DSL, Cable, or Fiber service, with the capability to connect via Ethernet from the cable modem to your PC.
• A minimum of 25 Mbps for downloads and 15 Mbps for uploads is required.
