This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Manage incoming patient calls and messages, prioritizing urgent issues and escalating cases as necessary.
• Assist healthcare providers with follow-ups, medication management, and coordinating patient care.
• Relay laboratory results, prescriptions, and treatment directives as directed by the provider.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions, medical histories, and notes from providers.
• Organize appointments and facilitate follow-up care for patients.
• Aid providers by gathering precise patient information for clinical assessments.
• Uphold confidentiality when dealing with protected health information.
• Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in hospitals, clinics, medical offices, or healthcare settings.
• A valid Medical Assistant license or an equivalent clinical certification is mandatory.
• Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care protocols.
• Proven experience in patient triage and urgency evaluation.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) systems is required.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) is required.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
