Bilingual IT Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Convert business requirements into comprehensive specifications and engage in high-level design and estimation processes.

• Create software solutions that align with the architectural vision and technical roadmap.

• Work alongside development teams to establish functional specifications and necessary system modifications, including non-functional requirements.

• Offer technical guidance and support during incidents or service disruptions.

• Develop user-friendly solutions that provide significant value.

• Decompose development tasks into manageable increments that benefit users.

• Collaborate with the Software Product Owner, UX designers, and essential partners within a matrix framework.

• Generate user-community documentation, such as release notes and user guides.

• Document designs within specified timeframes.

• Coordinate with developers and quality assurance teams to ensure clarity of designs and alignment of development efforts.

• Assist development and QA teams to guarantee the delivery of high-quality outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business analysis, administration, actuarial mathematics, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, or a comparable role with proficiency in managing complex systems.

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.

• Proven experience working with a UI/UX design team.

• Understanding of ergonomic principles and accessible web application design.

• Strong analytical abilities and excellent skills in synthesizing, systematizing, and simplifying technical concepts.

• Solid analytical skills.

• Capability to comprehend and utilize common IT technologies.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Experience in a SAFe environment or large-scale Agile practices is advantageous.

• Background in digital transformations or modernization projects is a plus.

• Knowledge of best practices in product or program management is beneficial.

• Intermediate proficiency in English is necessary for regular communication with external and internal stakeholders and for using English IT applications or software.
