This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with the business to assess learning and performance requirements.
• Create, develop, and facilitate the execution of engaging and targeted learning solutions.
• Work alongside Business Stakeholders, Project Teams, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to carry out needs analysis, establish learning objectives, and suggest appropriate learning solutions.
• Manage instructional design projects from initial intake and analysis to design, development, evaluation, and handover.
• Propose learning strategies and delivery methods, including instructor-led sessions, virtual training, eLearning, blended approaches, job aids, and performance support.
• Plan, design, and create learning solutions in both English and French.
• Utilize ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, adult learning principles, and instructional design methodologies.
• Develop learning assessments and evaluation strategies.
• Provide updates on project status, including risks, dependencies, timelines, resource coordination, capacity planning, and delivery milestones.
• Share lessons learned, templates, and best practices to foster ongoing improvements in Learning & Development.
• Report directly to the Manager of Learning & Development.
• Proven track record in designing and developing learning solutions using tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Vyond, or similar authoring software.
• Established knowledge and experience in implementing instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and learning project management practices.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French (both oral and written) is essential.
• Demonstrated capability to oversee learning projects from start to finish, including stakeholder engagement and managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Experience in crafting and developing technical or complex learning materials.
• Familiarity with digital adoption or in-application learning tools (e.g., Whatfix or similar) to integrate guidance, job aids, and performance support directly within business systems.
• Ability to rapidly acquire new subject matter knowledge and collaborate effectively with SMEs.
• Experience in the insurance sector is an asset.
