Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative

📋 Description

• Manage both incoming and outgoing calls in a technologically advanced environment.

• Initiate and respond to calls on behalf of clients to address billing and payment concerns using predefined work queues and call pools.

• Professionally and comprehensively respond to inquiries from patients and account holders.

• Secure payments or arrange payment plans on behalf of clients as necessary.

• Comply with client-specific guidelines and policies.

• Investigate and address client inquiries as required.

• Record and oversee payment arrangements.

• Ensure adherence to FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Call Center or Customer Service role with regular public interaction.

• Preferred knowledge or experience in medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance, and/or healthcare administration.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

• Flexibility regarding scheduling and assignments, including regular evening and Saturday shifts as needed.

• Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

• Bilingual candidates are encouraged, as they will provide additional support for bilingual calls.

• Must have a broadband internet connection; DSL or dial-up is not acceptable.

• A hard-wired internet connection is required; Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi hotspots are not permitted.

• Minimum internet speeds of 40 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload are necessary.

• A camera must remain on from the beginning of training through to the end of each scheduled shift, excluding designated breaks and lunch periods.

• After training, camera usage is required as per supervisor direction or team expectations.

• Remote employees must reside in the United States and be located in one of the approved states: Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Ohio, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland, or New Mexico.
