This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Conducting remote semi-structured interviews (via phone) with older adults hailing from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Collecting valuable feedback regarding participants' experiences and satisfaction with provided services.
• Organizing and managing your interview schedule independently.
• Conducting interviews with empathy, fostering a comfortable and unbiased environment.
• Tracking call dispositions and accessing participant information through an online file-sharing platform.
• Documenting interview outcomes, addressing inconsistencies, and submitting findings.
• Ensuring confidentiality and adherence to federal HIPAA regulations along with data security protocols.
• Maintaining consistent communication with Vital Research for updates and support.
• Bilingual in English and Hmong, with the ability to fluently speak, read, and write in both languages is essential.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Zoom and other web-based platforms.
• Comfortable working with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating sensitivity to their needs.
• Excellent communication skills to build trust and establish rapport with participants.
• Must possess a personal computer and a secure Wi-Fi connection.
• Organized and detail-oriented to ensure accurate task completion.
• Previous experience in research fieldwork, particularly in interviewing or observational roles (preferred).
• Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities, group homes, or day centers (preferred).
• Paid training.
