Bilingual Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming calls from clients, offering professional and compassionate support.

• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for insured individuals, their families, and medical facilities regarding coverage and benefits.

• Initiate claim files and guide clients to suitable healthcare providers.

• Clarify travel insurance coverage, including relevant exclusions and maximum limits.

• Approve certain medical tests and coordinate necessary services when required.

• Support clients throughout the claims process and ensure timely follow-ups.

• Record interactions and transactions within the claims management system.

• Work collaboratively with various departments to address client requests and resolve complaints.

• Uphold a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of a college diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Background in customer service, telecommunications, or claims support.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French to assist clients in both languages.

• Proficiency in a third language will be considered advantageous.

• Exceptional communication skills and a high degree of professionalism.

• Strong focus on customer service excellence.

• Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, team-based setting.

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet navigation.

• Availability from 7 am to 11 pm, Sunday to Saturday, including holidays.

• Willingness to work a rotating schedule of 32-40 hours weekly.
