This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage enterprise-wide Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics platforms.

• Work in collaboration with IT Infrastructure and vendors to sustain BI applications and platforms.

• Configure environments in alignment with best practices.

• Develop platform governance processes and implement them throughout the user community.

• Evaluate data, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and metric requirements with business leaders and the Product, Data & Technology teams.

• Ensure data accuracy and promote its reuse and consistency.

• Create live dashboards and reports across various delivery platforms, emphasizing self-service enablement.

• Examine available data and KPIs against management requirements to establish new metrics.

• Maintain metadata and KPI/metric ownership through a stewardship model.

• Analyze data to uncover causal relationships, trends, correlations, outliers, and anomalies.

• Reconcile and validate dashboards and reports to guarantee high-quality insights.

• Identify process enhancements, automate manual tasks, optimize data delivery, and redesign infrastructure for scalability.

• Manage access controls for BI platforms, reports, and dashboards.

• Document the requirements for business continuity, disaster recovery, high availability, and recoverability.

• Mentor junior data professionals and share templates, reusable artifacts, and domain knowledge.

• Engage in stakeholder reviews and design sessions.

• Provide data, reports, and information to management.

• Keep track of technology-related trends and errors, developing complex solutions and improvements.

• Resolve high-level issues as they arise.

• Monitor platform usage, database sizes, compute resources, and third-party costs.

• Advocate for data transformation and innovative methods of generating insights.

• Manage communications and partnerships with senior leaders, functional managers, and staff.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field is required.

• A minimum of three to five years of experience in BI Analyst-related roles, including at least two years in a senior technical capacity.

• Proficiency in business intelligence platforms, particularly Power BI and Tableau.

• Strong knowledge of MS Azure Services pertaining to BI and Analytics.

• Expertise in Power BI Administration and Development, with relevant certifications.

• Skilled in configuring and managing enterprise-wide platforms following best practices.

• Experienced in designing and implementing Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes for BI platforms.

• Competent in Data Governance, Stewardship, and Metadata Management.

• Proficient in generating reports, dashboards, self-service BI, and visualizations.

• Familiarity with technical documentation, metadata dictionaries, data validation rules, quality acceptance criteria, SDLC, Agile, and ITILv4 frameworks.

• Expertise in SQL.

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including AuroraDB, IBM DB2, MemSQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, Redshift, Snowflake, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Redis, or MongoDB.

• Experience analyzing structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

• Experience handling data from internal core systems and third-party providers such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Zillow, CoreLogic, MLS Data, Public Records, and Property Data.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office or Google G-Suite, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft SharePoint.

• Ability to conduct root cause analysis and collaborate effectively within a team.

• Capability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to lead effectively and achieve results in a matrixed management environment.

• Critical thinking and risk assessment capabilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building abilities.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications is essential.

• Commitment to the company's values.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional nights or weekends as needed.

• Must adhere to and apply process protocols in a timely manner.
