BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Consolidate data from various sources

• Create, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade BI and analytics solutions

• Collect requirements from business stakeholders

• Design and build reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries for the data warehouse and operational systems

• Collaborate with Reporting and Analytics and Data Engineering teams on data modeling, predictive analytics, visualization, and governance

• Evaluate data sources, business processes, and mining results

• Design BI and reporting solutions utilizing Tableau, SQL, SSIS, and SSRS

• Implement optimal BI solutions and reports that support business decisions

• Advise users on data utilization and management

• Assist in the design, maintenance, and completion of high-profile organizational projects

• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and documentation for data domains, including reporting needs and data maps

• Oversee multiple tasks and projects to ensure timely completion

• Support initiatives in data governance, metadata management, and stewardship

• Adhere to Lucet policies as well as relevant privacy, confidentiality, security, and legal requirements

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)

• Proven experience in Business Intelligence (BI)

• Strong preference for experience within the healthcare sector

• Solid understanding of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

• Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is advantageous

• Proficient in analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python

• Extensive experience with Tableau and familiarity with other data visualization platforms

• Thorough knowledge of database management systems and relational and dimensional data modeling

• Background in data warehousing, particularly in the healthcare industry

• Experience in developing scalable BI applications

• Ability to work closely with end-users and translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Familiar with requirements gathering and agile methodologies

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

• Willingness to occasionally work outside standard business hours

• Must pass extensive background checks and a 10-panel drug screening

• Capable of undergoing a Public Trust background investigation and achieving favorable adjudication

• US Citizenship for a minimum of 5 years

• Valid Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

• High-speed internet connection with at least 20 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload, and a maximum latency of 100 milliseconds

• A quiet workspace with minimal background noise

• Ability to perform the required sedentary and communication duties
