BI Developer, Alteryx, Tableau

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Propel the organization's growth within the analytics landscape while providing support to senior business and operations stakeholders.

• Take full ownership of Alteryx workflows and Tableau reporting from start to finish.

• Oversee analytics and visualization systems along with their related hardware requirements.

• Construct, maintain, and enhance Alteryx workflows.

• Remove remaining manual processes to transition reporting from about 90% automated to completely automated.

• Create customer-facing and internal operational reporting platforms utilizing Tableau.

• Assume responsibility for data storage and the development of the data lake.

• Spearhead automation initiatives as applicable.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint business challenges for analysis and reporting.

• Formulate analysis and reporting for customer behavior forecasting, market analytics, environmental reporting, and contract KPIs.

• Detect process enhancements and propose actions that support ongoing improvement.

• Convert scoping documents into uniform visual representations.

• Deliver user training and facilitate the onboarding process.

• Manage multiple projects and a substantial task volume independently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be based in the Philippines.

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a role focused on business intelligence, analytics, or reporting development.

• Proven practical experience with Alteryx.

• Proven practical experience with Tableau.

• Strong skills in Python and SQL.

• Outstanding skills in Microsoft Excel, including macros.

• Excellent proficiency with ETL tools and analytics platforms.

• Background in report development, with examples of reports created and maintained.

• Excellent command of written English and comprehension abilities.

• Capability to work independently, manage one's workload, and meet project deadlines without close supervision.

• Strong focus on detail and accuracy.

• Reliable internet connection, with a backup option available.

• Availability to align work hours with AU business hours, approximately 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.

• Experience with Power BI and Postgres is desirable.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Gmail, Dropbox, and other cloud-based systems is desirable.

• Formal education in data analytics, computer science, or a related field is desirable.

• Experience using AI tools to aid coding and workflow development, along with the technical ability to diagnose and resolve errors from those tools is desirable.
