This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily management of medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, and leave programs.
• Cultivate and sustain partnerships with insurance brokers, plan administrators, and third-party vendors.
• Direct the annual benefits renewals and open enrollment processes.
• Manage employee wellness initiatives and create programs to enhance employee wellbeing and engagement.
• Administer benefit enrollments, COBRA, terminations, beneficiary updates, disability claims, retirement transactions, loans, hardship withdrawals, and related administrative tasks.
• Maintain and enhance benefits policies, procedures, documentation, and administrative processes.
• Ensure adherence to relevant federal, state, and local regulations, including compliance with audits and reporting requirements.
• Facilitate the transfer and validation of benefits data through Workday and external vendors.
• Spearhead benefits communication, education, and training initiatives.
• Lead the benefits segment of new hire orientation and address employee inquiries.
• Conduct plan audits and compile data for actuarial assessments and vendor evaluations.
• Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
• Report directly to the VP of HR.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in benefits administration and program management.
• Experience in administering health and welfare programs, retirement plans, leave programs, and employee wellness initiatives.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday.
• Strong understanding of benefits compliance, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proven credibility as a benefits subject matter expert and trusted advisor.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, with the capability to effectively collaborate with employees, leaders, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Responsible for leading employee training and communications regarding Exol employee benefits.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Remote opportunity, with preference for candidates on the East Coast.
• Up to 20% travel may be necessary.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
