πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Act as the main point of contact for team members regarding benefits and leave inquiries, offering education and assistance in areas such as health, retirement, voluntary benefits, and leave programs.

β€’ Oversee the administration of benefit enrollments, eligibility, life events, Open Enrollment, FMLA, ADA accommodations, personal leave, and state leave programs.

β€’ Handle leave documentation, ensuring compliance with eligibility, deadlines, accommodations, and return-to-work protocols.

β€’ Reconcile benefit billing, payroll deductions, enrollment, eligibility, and vendor data, addressing discrepancies with internal teams and external vendors.

β€’ Utilize Workday, vendor systems, and Excel to maintain records, analyze data, support reporting efforts, and identify areas for process improvement.

β€’ Assist with compliance requirements related to ACA, COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, ADA, audits, reporting, communications, and other related aspects.

β€’ Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, HRIS, People Partners, Legal, leaders, and vendors to troubleshoot issues and support benefit and leave programs.

β€’ Uphold confidentiality, support Elara Caring policies and objectives, and perform additional duties as assigned.

β€’ Report directly to the Senior Manager, Leave & Benefits.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics typically acquired through a high school diploma or GED.

β€’ An Associate's degree or relevant coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a similar field is preferred.

β€’ A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Leave Administration, Employee Services, Customer Service, healthcare administration, or a comparable field.

β€’ Familiarity with navigating HRIS, case management, and benefit vendor systems.

β€’ Prior experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is preferred.

β€’ Experience with HRIS, CRM, or case management systems is also preferred.
