This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver real-time assistance to clients during live virtual group sessions.
• Support clients who may be tardy, disengaged, or facing technical difficulties during sessions.
• Reinforce expectations for participation and group norms.
• Collaborate with therapists to uphold a stable and nurturing group environment.
• Observe and assess client participation, behavior, and engagement during group sessions.
• Document observations, attendance, actions taken, and events of significance in line with program standards.
• Relay significant concerns or changes in client presentation to the clinical team.
• Monitor client distress or escalation during group sessions and respond accordingly.
• Offer verbal de-escalation and support for emotional regulation.
• Follow protocols to maintain a safe treatment environment.
• Assist in the delivery and completion of clinical screeners.
• Aid in care coordination, including preparation and follow-up related to SCC communications.
• Support discharge planning by identifying resources and coordinating appointments.
• Reinforce next steps and help with transition planning for clients.
• Work in collaboration with therapists to ensure continuity across different levels of care.
• Engage closely with therapists, Executive Directors, and Telehealth Services Coordinators.
• Take part in team huddles, rounds, safety reviews, and operational meetings as assigned.
• Proactively communicate trends in attendance, barriers to engagement, and safety concerns.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a behavioral health or mental health setting.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and de-escalation skills.
• Capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgmental attitude towards client support.
• Comfortable operating in a fully virtual environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Proficient in using video conferencing systems, Electronic Health Records (EHR), and digital screening and documentation platforms.
• Ability to uphold professional boundaries and work within a clearly defined non-clinical scope of practice.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Reliable internet connection and capability to work in a private, HIPAA-compliant environment.
• Must successfully pass background checks and drug screening.
• Availability Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 6:30 pm EST.
