This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with behavioral healthcare providers, clinicians, hospitals, treatment programs, interventionists, educational consultants, and other referral partners.
• Enhance regional growth through strategic territory planning, referral development, and community engagement initiatives.
• Act as a primary contact for individuals, families, and professionals in search of behavioral healthcare resources or treatment placements.
• Evaluate potential referrals and offer ethical, clinically appropriate placement recommendations.
• Collaborate with admissions, outreach, operations, and clinical teams throughout the inquiry, pre-admission, and admission processes.
• Maintain open communication with referral sources and ensure prompt follow-up.
• Provide consultation and support for complex cases and high-priority referrals.
• Assist with discharge planning and continuity-of-care resources.
• Represent Altior Healthcare at conferences, facility tours, networking events, professional meetings, and community activities.
• Assess conference and event opportunities in relation to organizational and territory objectives.
• Offer mentorship, coaching, and professional development support to outreach representatives.
• Identify gaps in referral, communication, and admission processes and work collaboratively on enhancements.
• Document outreach activities, referral communications, relationship development, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
• Stay informed about programs, levels of care, admission criteria, and clinical services.
• Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, ethical judgment, and clinical integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in behavioral healthcare.
• A minimum of five years of experience in behavioral healthcare admissions, treatment placement, outreach, business development, care coordination, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing a regional territory or establishing professional referral relationships.
• Strong knowledge of the behavioral healthcare treatment continuum and placement processes.
• Ability to assess complex situations and provide ethical, clinically appropriate guidance.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
• Strong professional presence in clinical and professional environments.
• Collaborative leadership style with experience in supporting, mentoring, or coaching others.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple referrals, relationships, and follow-up tasks.
• Experience with CRM systems; proficiency in Salesforce is highly preferred.
• Capability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive clinical and personal data.
• Must currently reside in the Pacific Northwest and be in reasonable proximity to the assigned territory.
• Frequent regional travel is necessary.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel independently throughout the territory.
• Availability for occasional evening or weekend events may be required.
