This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.
• Design and implement the recruitment growth strategy across China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
• Acquire and secure new clients throughout the region.
• Establish relationships with CEOs, Founders, HR Directors, Talent Acquisition leaders, and other senior decision-makers.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with Chinese companies and multinational enterprises.
• Identify avenues to assist Chinese companies in their expansion into other Asian and international markets.
• Negotiate recruitment contracts, fees, and commercial terms.
• Build and oversee a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Represent the company at pertinent networking events and within the APAC business community.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3–4 Recruitment Consultants across mainland China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
• Set individual and collective revenue, business development, and recruitment goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations, pipeline meetings, and coaching sessions.
• Assist consultants in securing clients, managing key accounts, and finalizing recruitment assignments.
• Recruit and onboard additional consultants as the APAC business expands.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and commercially-driven recruitment culture.
• Personally oversee strategic clients and senior recruitment assignments.
• Manage searches from client briefing through sourcing, interviews, offer negotiation, and placement.
• Develop enduring relationships with key regional accounts.
• Provide clients with insights on talent availability, compensation, recruitment strategies, and market trends.
• Ensure a high standard of service and delivery across the team.
• Over 10 years of experience in recruitment agencies or executive search, preferably within APAC.
• Prior experience in managing or mentoring recruitment consultants.
• Proven track record in 360° recruitment and business development.
• Demonstrated ability to secure new clients and generate recruitment revenue.
• Extensive knowledge of the recruitment market in China and the broader APAC region.
• Experience in developing and managing relationships with Chinese clients.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a knack for building and scaling a business.
• Proficient in managing a geographically distributed team.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
