Baseball Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +20 more states.

📋 Description

• Operate SMT’s baseball tracking system (6th Tool) to gather and enhance sports data.

• Monitor computer applications while keeping track of live game events.

• Work remotely from a home-office setup utilizing remote login applications.

• Ensure the precision of gathered data.

• Complete ball trajectories and player paths for each pitch.

• Process system feedback and make real-time adjustments.

• Collaborate with the baseball operations team and communicate any issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia.

• Comprehensive understanding of baseball, including its terminology, rules, and strategies.

• Extensive knowledge of PC gaming; proficiency with keyboard hotkeys in a dynamic environment is preferred.

• Availability to work during weekend games and occasional weeknight or weekday games.

• General understanding of computer hardware, software, and Windows OS structure is preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills via Slack or phone calls.

• Capability to perform under pressure and complete time-sensitive tasks.
