Banner Developer, PLSQL – Inglés avanzado

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain internal tools and customer-facing applications to enhance operational efficiency, data validation, and the implementation experience for global clients.

• Participate in enterprise SaaS solution projects.

• Address real architectural challenges at a scale of over 100 million records.

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructures.

• Develop and maintain packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.

• Analyze and maintain existing applications and legacy code.

• Understand business processes and optimize them through technological solutions.

• Collaborate on projects for clients in LATAM and the United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Oracle development.

• More than 5 years of solid experience with PL/SQL.

• Experience with Banner CIS.

• Proven track record in developing and maintaining packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.

• Experience with Oracle Forms.

• Proficient in working with Oracle databases, ideally Oracle Database 19c.

• Familiarity with PL/SQL processes involving file I/O.

• Knowledge of at least one Oracle IDE: Oracle SQL Developer, PL/SQL Developer, or T.O.A.D.

• Experience working and navigating in UNIX environments.

• Understanding of scripting using sh and/or ksh.

• Proficient in UNIX utilities such as vi/emacs, awk, diff, find, grep, sed, and tar.

• Experience in working with business processes and the ability to understand how they can be optimized through technological solutions.

• Capability to analyze and maintain existing applications and legacy code.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Knowledge of Oracle Reports / Oracle Reports 19, Oracle Forms 19c, AIX, Pro*C, C or C++, Pro*COBOL, COBOL, and business applications with batch processes, interfaces, and online systems is a plus.
