Background Investigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough interviews with subjects, employers, associates, references, and other informed individuals.

• Review relevant records to gather facts and address significant issues in cases.

• Determine the background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of individuals being investigated.

• Record all information obtained during investigations.

• Submit comprehensive investigation reports within specified deadlines.

• Engage in temporary duty assignments at various locations across the U.S. for two weeks or more.

• Manage multiple field investigation contracts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Customer credential or the capability to obtain it based on National Training Standard certification and experience in conducting background investigations.

• Demonstrated quality, punctuality, and production metrics.

• Bachelor's Degree or four years of general experience showcasing progressive responsibility in problem-solving, planning and organizing tasks, and effective communication both orally and in writing.

• Active Top Secret Clearance based on a T5 Investigation.

• Ability to sustain a favorable determination based on T5 Investigation results.

• Commitment to supporting national security initiatives.

• Exemplary work ethic, integrity, and a proactive attitude.

• Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and readiness to travel extensively on a daily basis depending on assignment location.

• Home office must be equipped with high-speed Internet.

• Personal computer compatible with Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel.

• Capability to walk, type, sit, or stand for extended periods.

• Strong time management abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in typing detailed, extensive, and lengthy reports.

• Correct usage of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
