Backend Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain scalable, highly available microservices utilizing Node.js and AWS.

• Facilitate effective integration between internal and external systems through technologies such as SNS, SQS, Lambda, and more.

• Engage with various databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.

• Architect, execute, and oversee scalable and resilient solutions in production settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience with Node.js for the development of microservices and APIs.

• In-depth knowledge and experience with AWS, including EKS, SNS, SQS, Lambda, MongoDB Atlas, and DynamoDB.

• Understanding of AWS Step Functions.

• Experience in microservices architecture, systems integration, and process automation.

• Proficiency in CI/CD, Git, and agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Demonstrated experience as a Backend Developer or Microservices Developer, particularly with Node.js.

• Practical experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).

• Acquaintance with RESTful APIs and asynchronous communication protocols.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).

• Background in monitoring systems and managing logs using tools like AWS CloudWatch and ELK.

• Strong skills in debugging, performance optimization, and solving complex problems.

• Capacity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Dedication to code quality and adherence to development best practices.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, distributed systems architecture, API Gateway, Event Sourcing, CQRS, and AWS certification.
