Backend Engineer – JAVA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain secure, scalable cloud-based applications.

• Create backend systems utilizing Java and Spring Boot.

• Engage with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

• Apply application security and implement secure authentication protocols.

• Deploy and oversee applications on Microsoft Azure Cloud.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in Backend Development.

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.

• Solid understanding of Spring Core, Dependency Injection (DI), IoC, AOP, and Spring Data.

• Experience with Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT, and secure authentication practices.

• In-depth knowledge of Spring MVC and development of RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Logic Apps.

• Proven experience in deploying and managing applications on Azure Cloud.

• Understanding of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline management.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, API Management, SQL, and Cosmos DB.

• Awareness of OWASP security standards and secure coding methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications.

• Experience with cloud-native applications and containerized environments.

• Experience collaborating in Agile/Scrum teams.

• Knowledge of application performance optimization and monitoring techniques.
