Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Design the backend architecture for edge-computing systems that analyze video feeds from commercial cameras.

• Develop and sustain server-side infrastructure that services paying clients in the global food production industry.

• Work closely with team members to enhance data pipelines and optimization algorithms.

• Guarantee system reliability and performance in high-throughput operational settings.

• Manage core backend services and integrate them with the edge-computing product framework.

• Implement improvements in data handling for clients within the food production sector.

• Understand the challenges of processing operational video feeds at scale.

• Demonstrated experience in backend engineering and distributed systems.

• Solid understanding of API design, database management, and cloud infrastructure.

• Knowledge of edge computing architectures or video processing pipelines.

• Practical problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach.
