📋 Description

• Create features and resolve issues for the ZeroLayer HTTP Router, encompassing shard map lookup, Azure AD authentication, and correlation ID propagation.

• Integrate Azure Event Hubs within the ZeroLayer Kafka Router, utilizing consumer groups per cell, ensuring idempotency, and enabling event traceability.

• Develop the data access layer for ZeroLayer Data, implementing sharding in Azure SQL and Cosmos DB.

• Contribute to the Control Plane APIs, facilitating shard map reads and tenant registration functions.

• Connect services to Azure Key Vault for management of secrets and application credentials.

• Design and uphold unit and integration tests.

• Perform code reviews for fellow team members.

• Author and review schema migrations utilizing Flyway or Liquibase, integrated within the AKS deployment pipeline.

• Provide effort assessments and engage in technical refinement discussions.

• Execute queries and manage Azure SQL access while adhering to cell shard boundaries.

• Implement and maintain Cosmos DB collections in accordance with the tenant key.

• Establish caching with Azure Cache for Redis to minimize latency.

• Assist in the deployment process via ArgoCD until the service is fully operational in production on AKS.

• Set up health checks, readiness probes, and graceful shutdown protocols.

• Construct and version container images for Azure Container Registry.

• Equip services with structured logs, metrics, and correlation IDs in Datadog.

• Utilize Datadog APM to examine production behavior and aid in incident resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level professional.

• Proven experience in developing production services using Java, Go, or Kotlin.

• Familiarity with data modeling, queries, and schema migrations in Azure SQL.

• Experience with Cosmos DB collections and partitioning that aligns with specified access patterns.

• Background in integrating as a consumer or producer with Azure Event Hubs or Service Bus.

• Proficiency in implementing caching within backend services using Azure Cache for Redis.

• Understanding of secrets and application credential management utilizing Azure Key Vault.

• Knowledge of the AKS runtime environment, including health checks and pod lifecycle management.

• Experience deploying applications through ArgoCD following a GitOps model.

• Experience with unit and integration testing as an integral part of the development process.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
