Backend Developer III – Affirmative Action Position for Diverse Talent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct corrective and enhancement maintenance on internal systems to ensure optimal availability, security, and performance.

• Troubleshoot production failures, analyze logs, determine root causes (RCA), and implement quick resolutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations with ERPs, payment platforms, and CRMs through APIs, Webhooks, and background processes.

• Act as the technical point of contact for Level 3 support on intricate issues.

• Enhance legacy code, optimize complex database queries, and modernize system components.

• Establish and monitor preventive alert systems.

• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation regarding architecture, data flows, and integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong backend development experience utilizing C#, Java, Node.js, or PHP.

• Proficient in creating and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with SOAP/XML is advantageous.

• Knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases.

• Capability to read, create, and optimize queries and stored procedures.

• Skill in diagnosing code and identifying underlying issues.

• Experience with version control systems like Git.

• Excellent communication skills and empathy when engaging with internal users during incidents.

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, Kibana, or Zabbix is an asset.

• Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, or AWS SQS is a plus.

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is beneficial.

• Knowledge of Kanban/Scrum methodologies, ITIL practices, and incident/problem management is desirable.

• Basic understanding of CI/CD processes is advantageous.

• Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular, as well as knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, is a plus.
