Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Create and maintain backend infrastructure for various applications.

• Guarantee high levels of performance, security, and scalability.

• Design and implement robust and scalable backend services.

• Develop APIs and integrate third-party services along with Solana RPCs.

• Oversee PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases while ensuring data integrity and security.

• Implement caching strategies utilizing Redis.

• Utilize PrismaJS for effective database access and management.

• Deploy and manage applications on DigitalOcean and Google Cloud Platform.

• Employ BullJS for processing background jobs and Cron for task scheduling.

• Write unit and integration tests using Jest.

• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members effectively.

• Keep abreast of trends and advancements in web development and blockchain technologies.

• Design and implement a microservices architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in backend development, focusing on web2/web3 technologies.

• Proficient in Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and PrismaJS.

• Familiarity with cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform and DigitalOcean.

• Experience in DevOps practices.

• Experience in writing unit and integration tests using Jest.

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and microservices design patterns.

• Capability to design scalable systems.

• Understanding of blockchain technologies, particularly Solana, is a plus.

• Proficient in machine learning concepts and their application to real-world issues.

• Experience in designing and optimizing backends to efficiently handle large data volumes.
