Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Create and implement scalable and reliable backend services.

• Develop APIs and integrate external services along with Solana RPCs.

• Oversee PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Utilize Redis for implementing caching mechanisms.

• Collaborate with PrismaJS for efficient database access and management.

• Deploy and manage applications on platforms such as DigitalOcean and Google Cloud Platform.

• Employ BullJS for processing background jobs and use Cron for task scheduling.

• Write unit and integration tests with Jest.

• Work alongside frontend developers and other team members for smooth integration.

• Keep abreast of web development and blockchain trends and technologies.

• Design and implement a microservices architecture to enhance scalability and maintainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in backend development with an emphasis on web2/web3 technologies.

• Expertise in Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and PrismaJS.

• Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Google Cloud Platform and DigitalOcean.

• Experience with DevOps methodologies.

• Understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices design patterns.

• Capability to design scalable systems.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of blockchain technologies, especially Solana, is advantageous.

• Proficiency in machine learning concepts and their practical application.

• Experience in designing and optimizing backends for efficient handling of large data volumes.
