Backend Developer – AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Create and assess practical software engineering tasks for a prominent AI lab initiative

• Develop and execute multi-file coding assignments that include bug fixing, feature enhancement, refactoring, and testing

• Compose clear specifications in natural language along with reference implementations

• Build and expand unit and integration test suites

• Evaluate peer-created tasks for accuracy, clarity, and realism

• Recognize edge cases, ambiguities, and possible failure modes

• Ensure consistency among specifications, code, and expected results

• Generate high-quality, production-like coding tasks

• Deliver complete and accurate reference implementations

• Establish robust test coverage and validation artifacts

• Offer structured, actionable feedback during peer reviews

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced professional written proficiency in English

• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript

• Familiarity with Java, C#, or Go

• Experience in backend or full-stack development within production systems

• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing

• Demonstrated ability to debug and navigate extensive, multi-file codebases

• Experience in code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations
