Backend Developer – AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Design and execute multi-file coding assignments encompassing bug fixes, feature enhancements, refactoring, and testing.

• Compose clear specifications in natural language along with reference implementations.

• Develop and enhance unit and integration testing suites.

• Evaluate peer-generated assignments for accuracy, clarity, and feasibility.

• Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure scenarios.

• Ensure consistency between specifications, code, and anticipated outcomes.

• Create high-quality coding tasks that simulate production environments.

• Provide complete and accurate reference implementations.

• Establish robust test coverage and validation materials.

• Offer structured and actionable feedback during peer reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced professional written English proficiency.

• 3–7 years of relevant software engineering experience.

• Strong skills in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; familiarity with Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development within production systems.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

• Demonstrated capability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases.

• Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and migrations in production environments.

• Must provide your own tools.
