Back End Developer – SFCC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement innovative features for ecommerce platforms.

• Enhance and maintain existing functionalities.

• Collaborate with external development teams, third-party vendors, and cross-functional groups on comprehensive Salesforce Commerce Cloud capabilities.

• Ensure compliance with platform requirements and make necessary updates.

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot website integration feeds for products, inventory, price books, OMS, Google, and product reviews.

• Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, including downtime and speed, and implement enhancements.

• Stay updated on the latest Salesforce Commerce Cloud development trends.

• Manage site domains and code repositories.

• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Enhance and optimize processes and interfaces on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.

• Make architectural decisions and engage in hands-on development work.

• Mentor and develop junior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with SFCC - Required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Experience in software development with a focus on Salesforce Commerce Cloud and eCommerce feeds and integrations.

• Familiarity with SFCC Site Genesis and/or SFRA framework, utilizing catalog, content assets, slots, search, ordering, marketing, and analytics features.

• Experience with integrating third-party cartridges, implementing customizations, and developing new cartridges.

• Knowledge and experience in caching, cache management, performance monitoring, and improvement strategies within Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

• Understanding of Business Manager capabilities, features, and customizations.

• Strong expertise in ISMLs, JS controllers, pipelines, OCAPI, Business Manager configurations, project/release management, and version control tools.

• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SASS, jQuery, and JavaScript.

• Availability to work during EST hours.
