Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain integrations among healthcare systems, guaranteeing interoperability and the dependable transmission of clinical data.

• Create and improve digital products that assist beneficiaries throughout their care journeys.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure that technical decisions are in line with the company’s strategic goals.

• Explore flexible, adaptable, and straightforward solutions that can evolve with changes in product direction.

• Actively identify and address team bottlenecks and challenges, suggesting enhancements to maintain team productivity and engagement.

• Provide support and mentorship to less experienced developers by sharing expertise and aiding in team development.

• Engage actively in team refinement sessions and ceremonies.

• Suggest technological advancements and champion best practices in development.

• Support the products managed by the squad.

• Make architectural decisions and elevate the team’s technical standards.

• Leverage artificial intelligence for AI-assisted development, agent creation, and the formulation of healthcare solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience in software development.

• Experience with mission-critical systems and/or complex integrations, ideally in the healthcare sector.

• Proficiency in Node.js.

• Familiarity with the Serverless Framework.

• Experience with AWS Cloud.

• Background in developing system integrations using REST, SOAP, and other protocols.

• Experience with healthcare integrations and the FHIR healthcare data interoperability standard.

• Knowledge of React for full-stack development when necessary (a plus).

• Understanding of artificial intelligence as it relates to product and integration development (a significant plus).

• Experience in building AI agents (a significant plus).

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development, utilizing these tools to enhance productivity and quality, with the critical ability to assess and understand generated output (a significant plus).

• Demonstrated autonomy and maturity in making technical decisions and being accountable for them.

• Ability to positively impact the team by guiding peers and sharing knowledge.
