Senior Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance backend applications utilizing Java and Spring Boot.

• Create and sustain APIs, microservices, and system integrations.

• Develop and oversee solutions involving databases and messaging frameworks.

• Contribute to the advancement of application architecture, quality, security, and scalability.

• Assist in CI/CD practices, observability, and other software engineering methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Java backend development within corporate settings.

• Proficient in integrating systems and platforms.

• Familiarity with data modeling, APIs, messaging, and distributed systems.

• Experience with DevOps methodologies, observability, and contemporary software engineering.

• Capability to engage in architectural discussions and establish technical standards.

• Proficient in Java 17+.

• Experienced with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.

• Knowledgeable in RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger.

• Skilled in microservices architecture.

• Familiar with Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Proficient in PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.

• Experienced with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in Git, GitHub/Azure DevOps.

• Knowledgeable in CI/CD using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure Pipelines.

• Familiar with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

• Preferred: Experience in event-driven architecture (EDA).

• Preferred: Knowledge of Redis for distributed caching.

• Preferred: Familiarity with MongoDB or NoSQL databases.

• Preferred: Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Preferred: Knowledge of API Gateway solutions (Kong, Apigee, Azure API Management).

• Preferred: Understanding of security protocols, including OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Angular and Micro Frontends architecture.
