Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee, support, and enhance Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate incidents related to virtual applications and desktops.

• Publish and manage both applications and desktops.

• Ensure the availability, stability, security, and monitoring of environments.

• Manage Azure components associated with the environment, including virtual hosts, resource groups, NSGs, image galleries, FSLogix, storage accounts, and route tables.

• Collaborate with Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, and Conditional Access.

• Contribute to automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and DevOps initiatives.

• Assist in the development and enhancement of new environments and solutions.

• Engage in the ongoing improvement of the platform and global infrastructure initiatives.

• Act as the technical escalation point for incidents, problems, requests, and changes related to the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure environments.

• Familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policy.

• Understanding of Entra ID and Conditional Access.

• Background in Virtual Desktop / Remote Applications environments.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities in infrastructure settings.

• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.

• Knowledge of IT Service Management / ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

• Proficiency in English for collaboration within a global team.

• Experience with Citrix XenDesktop / XenApp.

• Familiarity with Citrix Cloud.

• Experience with NetScaler.

• Understanding of Microsoft RDS / RemoteApp.

• Experience with Nerdio.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and CI/CD practices.

• Microsoft Azure certifications.
