Azure DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee Azure infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.

• Automate cloud deployments and oversee resource management using Azure DevOps pipelines, scripts, and various automation tools.

• Monitor and enhance Azure service performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for applications and services deployed on Azure.

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate code repositories, build processes, and deployment automation.

• Ensure effective version control and release management practices.

• Manage and sustain Linux servers to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

• Execute system updates, patches, and configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

• Troubleshoot issues related to networking, security, systems, and application performance.

• Implement security best practices for Azure cloud services and Linux servers.

• Conduct security assessments and audits, applying necessary patches and updates.

• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.

• Work alongside development, QA, and operations teams to refine processes and enhance efficiency.

• Provide production system support, including on-call rotations as necessary.

• Document processes, configurations, and best practices for Azure and Linux environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level (L3) Azure DevOps Engineer.

• Demonstrated experience with Azure cloud services, including VM management, networking, storage, and security.

• Strong expertise in Linux system administration, including Red Hat, Ubuntu, or CentOS.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar platforms.

• Proficient in Bash, PowerShell, or Python scripting.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience in performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning for cloud and Linux environments.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong documentation capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Azure certification is preferred, such as Azure Administrator or Azure DevOps Engineer.

• Preferred experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, or Logic Apps.

• Preferred experience in network security and VPN configuration within cloud environments.

• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL database management in cloud settings is preferred.
