Azure DevOps Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee Azure DevOps administration, which includes project setup, team configuration, area and iteration paths, permissions, and process templates.

• Develop dashboards in Azure DevOps and/or Power BI utilizing real-time Azure DevOps data.

• Set up workflows, featuring custom work item types, states, rules, and automation.

• Assist with backlog and sprint planning activities.

• Advise teams on best practices for Azure DevOps.

• Create and uphold data quality, governance, and data entry standards within Azure DevOps.

• Design basic automation solutions utilizing KQL, REST APIs, or Power Automate.

• Generate and maintain process documentation and user guidance tailored for non-technical users.

• Facilitate planning, reporting, process governance, and tool administration for the Ways of Working function.

⛳️ Requirements

• Reliability or a higher security clearance is required at the time of application.

• Eligibility for secret clearance is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in administering Azure DevOps environments.

• Proven experience in creating dashboards and reporting solutions using Azure DevOps and/or Power BI.

• Experience in configuring workflows, work item types, states, rules, and automation.

• Familiarity with backlog management, sprint planning, and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Experience in establishing and maintaining data quality and governance standards.

• Basic scripting or query-writing abilities using KQL, REST APIs, or Power Automate.

• Strong written communication skills for crafting process documentation and user guides.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.

• Advanced Excel skills for tracking and reporting purposes.

• Strong PowerPoint skills for executive-level reporting.
