Azure Cloud Operations Engineer – Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and continuously enhance the Azure cloud and Windows Server infrastructure.

• Administer, optimize, and monitor Microsoft servers, focusing on debugging and performance enhancement.

• Collaborate with Azure services encompassing networking, monitoring, security, and Microsoft 365.

• Automate operational processes and implement infrastructure as code for day-two operations.

• Provide support to customers and internal teams with technical inquiries.

• Ensure operations remain stable and reliable.

• Streamline and optimize operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, or similar programming languages.

• Engage in on-call support as required.

• Contribute actively to the development of the expanding team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training or a degree in IT, such as IT specialist training, or an equivalent qualification.

• Several years of experience in administering Windows servers.

• Strong familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms.

• Knowledge of IKAROS software is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

• Capability to work independently with a reliable work ethic.

• Team-oriented with a desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and advancements.

• Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
