AWS Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, configure, and manage cloud or infrastructure components utilizing approved architectural patterns.

• Automate consistent provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.

• Implement security measures, identity management, networking, backup solutions, monitoring, and availability controls.

• Investigate incidents, capacity challenges, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and change logs.

• Collaborate across engineering and operations teams.

• Contribute to the development of reliable and maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience as specified in the job posting header.

• Typically at least 4 years in a relevant professional position (the specific qualifications must align with the approved requisition).

• Hands-on experience with AWS IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, managed services, CloudWatch, automation, and cloud security.

• Professional background in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations.

• Practical knowledge of various cloud, operating system, container, or automation technologies.

• Understanding of fundamental concepts in networking, identity management, security, monitoring, and availability.

• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code methodologies.

• Ability to methodically troubleshoot infrastructure and production-related issues.

• Excellent documentation and collaboration skills across teams.
