This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Define and uphold the enterprise target architecture encompassing infrastructure, platform, integration, data, and AI.
• Set architecture guidelines for standardization, data quality, AI readiness, platform automation, integration, and security by design.
• Offer enterprise-level architectural guidance for platforms and advanced capabilities.
• Propel modernization efforts across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Collaborate with data architects and engineers to develop highly available, resilient, governed, and cost-effective data platforms.
• Ensure that technology decisions adhere to regulatory compliance regarding data governance, security, privacy, and data residency.
• Lead the advancement of enterprise infrastructure for scalability, performance, AI computing, storage modernization, network reliability, and cybersecurity.
• Manage the lifecycle of virtualization, container platforms, cloud services, storage, and enterprise databases.
• Guide the selection and implementation of infrastructure and cloud technologies that support AI acceleration, distributed computing, and modern data workloads.
• Develop strategies for capacity planning, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Convert business outcomes into capable, scalable, and future-proof technology architectures.
• Lead cross-functional architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects, engineers, and project teams.
• Maintain roadmaps, reference architectures, standards, and guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 15 years of experience in infrastructure, data, or platform engineering/operations, including 5–7 years in architecture leadership roles.
• Proven experience in defining enterprise-wide infrastructure, platform, data, and AI architectures within complex hybrid environments.
• Expertise in at least two domains: enterprise data platforms; AI/ML platforms; integration platforms; security and identity; cloud architecture; container platforms; computing, storage, networking, security, and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with AIX, RHEL, Oracle Database, Dell EMC Storage, Pure Storage, Data Domain, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint.
• Experience with DevOps, Platform Engineering, and observability tools.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of security architecture, cloud governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead extensive platform, data, or infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
• Experience with ITIL, Agile, and modern delivery methodologies.
