AVP, Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement scalable software modules and components.

• Construct backend systems utilizing .NET 10, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, Docker, and AWS.

• Guide, mentor, and assist a team of engineers and QA professionals.

• Cultivate an environment that encourages idea sharing, calculated risk-taking, and learning from failures.

• Organize, assess, and prioritize tasks across various initiatives with project lifecycles ranging from two weeks to three months.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering, with increasing leadership or management roles.

• More than 6 years of experience with C#, .NET Core, and the Microsoft development ecosystem deployed through AWS.

• At least 6 years of experience in real-time data management, encompassing SQL, NoSQL, and caching technologies.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps practices, including GIT or Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Python.

• Over 3 years of experience in leading and managing engineering teams while collaborating with product and business units.

• Background in the financial sector, including FinTech or traditional banking.

• Knowledge of business logic to inform relevant engineering solutions.
